Digital Juice Has a Long History of Theft and Deception

When it comes to Digital Juice there are no coincidences.

Are we expected to believe that after Digital Juice was a long time reseller for the Axis Dolly, they just magically came up with the idea for the Orbit Dolly?  A device so similar that most people can't tell one from the other? No.  The truth is that David Hebel, the owner of Digital Juice, saw how much money the Axis Dolly was making and he wanted a bigger piece of the pie.  So instead of designing one of his own (who has time for that?) he just had his people reverse engineer the thing and make one for themselves.

Then, they made money.  TONS OF IT.  David also decided that he didn't want Axis to bitch about what was happening, so he undercut the price of Axis Dolly so severely that it nearly killed off the company. Being the greedy motherfucker that David is, he wanted more.  Digital Juice ordered their mindless and soulless employees to scour B&H looking for products that they could copy.  David must have thought he was brilliant, why R&D anything when you can just duplicate?  So they did, over and over again.  Digital Juice ripped off products from Kessler, CineBags, Miller, Petrol Bags, Cine Saddle and many more. Stitch for stitch, bolt for bolt, David stole from the best of them. If you make a product for the video production industry, it's highly likely that Juice will steal it, replicate it and claim to innovate it.


That simply wasn't enough for Juice, David's greed was insatiable.  So what does he do next?  He quickly realizes that what he's doing with hardware he can do with software.

So once again he scours the internet and finds a small company called Rampant Design Tools.  He "borrows" the Rampant slogan, marketing copy, product names and concepts.  Then he regurgitates them on his own site and releases an extensive pr campaign claiming to innovate this idea.   It's worked so many times before, right?  What could possibly go wrong? Digital Juice was banking on the fact that no one had heard of Rampant and that he could steal the products and crush the originator all at once.


Whoops.  This time customers for both Digital Juice AND Rampant realize that something isn't right.  Hundreds of customers write post after post on the Digital Juice website and Facebook page pointing out the questionable similarities.  So what does David do?  It's revisionist history time.  Being the self centered sociopath that he is, David orders his staff to cleanse the Digital Juice website and social media pages of any comments referring to Rampant.

Digital Juice "Inspiration"

Digital Juice, a Bangalore-based digital effects company, started manufacturing hardware not long ago. Since the company's core competency is not hardware, this was a strange move. Some of their hardware products seem to be "inspired" by other company's products. And so are some of their visual effects.

Digital Juice Theft Investigation: Undeniable Proof That Juice Steals Products and Ideas

Undeniable proof that when you load up Digital Juice Juicer 3 and go into their Glitch FX product, the clip named "Witness the Glitch" is quite literally stolen from the Screen Damage promotional video from Rampant Design Tools. 

Don't be surprised to see Digital Juice remove this clip in an attempt to hide the truth.

See the truth for yourself. It's blatantly obvious that juice is threatened by companies like Rampant. Digital Juice is so scared of Rampant that Juice copied the marketing, slogans, web copy, product names and every other aspect of Rampant's Drag & Drop library. 

This isn't the first time Juice has stolen ideas, look at the what Juice did to the Axis Dolly, Cinebags, Kessler, Miller and many more. 

Digital Juice is clearly desperate to stay relevant, their greed will ultimately bring them down.
